Ashish Shelar on Eknath Shinde: Devendra Fadnavis cabinet is to be expanded in Maharashtra on Sunday 15th December. Before the cabinet expansion, Mumbai BJP chief MLA Ashish Shelar has made a big allegation against the former CM Eknath Shinde government, due to which the politics of Maharashtra has heated up. Ashish Shelar has raised questions on a project started during the tenure of Shinde government and has written a letter to the BMC Commissioner.
Let us tell you that in the letter written by Ashish Shelar to BMC Commissioner Bhushan Gagarani, Eknath Shinde Alleging use of poor quality material in the road cementing project worth Rs 6,000 crore during the tenure of the government, there has been a demand for investigation.
He wrote, “I am writing in connection with the Rs 6,000 cement concrete works started in Mumbai since last year and ongoing small road concreting works. During road inspection on Wednesday in Santa Cruz West area of my assembly constituency, I observed that There are cracks in the recently constructed concrete roads. The concrete layers are peeling off and even the recently started road works are not being carried out properly.”
Ashish Shelar demanded investigation
Ashish Shelar further wrote, “After several complaints of poor quality work and poor concreting works, I demand that a special investigation team be formed to investigate the quality aspects of the work done. Also the concrete A detailed audit of 40 percent road patches should be conducted with experts from IT Bombay, VJTI.”
“Any lapses in quality control, vigilance process and work of the contractor should be investigated. Based on the investigation, strict action should be taken against the erring road contractors, including fines and blacklisting against negligent agencies, officials. “Action should be taken.”
